How long before you come to collect my scrap car?
If you are situated in the Reigate area then when you call us out we can be with you within the hour.
Are you a professional vehicle disposal company?
Yes. We are licensed by the environment agency. We specialise in disposing of vehicles in an environmentally sound way. We have been trading for many years now and enjoy a great reputation for good service.
Do you only scrap cars?
No, we can scrap vans and lorries as well as cars.
Should I remove the fuel from my scrap car?
This is entirely up to you; this is not necessary as we are more than happy to drain the fluids as this is actually part of the recycling process.
Do I need to notify the DVLA that I am no longer the owner of the car?
No, we notify the DVLA that you have scrapped your vehicle (as long as the logbook is supplied with the car).
Can I claim back my unused road tax?
Yes, you will need to get a v14 form from the post office or take a look at the DVLA website.
Who tells the DVLA that my car has been scrapped?
Provided that you are able to provide us with the logbook for the scrap car we will notify the DVLA for you.
What happens once my scrap car is towed away?
Your car is disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible. It goes through a strict process that we follow. We strip all of the recyclable parts of the vehicle prior to it being crushed.
From what areas can you tow away scrap cars?
We can tow away scrap cars from anywhere in the Reigate area and many of the locations around it. If you have a scrap car located outside of Reigate, give us a ring to find out if we can help.
Can you tow away my car at the weekend?
As most people work weekdays and are not around due to work commitments we work 7 days a week. (We don’t have weekends in this industry!)
